[ Woohoo, my new lens! ]

After playing with my camera and photos for the past 12 or so months I started to become aware that my photos were not sharp enough.  Sure I could sharpen them somewhat PP in Photoshop but its not enough.  I have been pondering which lens to upgrade to and ended up choosing the Sony DT 1.8 / 50mm.  I could have gone the 85mm f1.4 but as it was a couple of hundred $$ more I thought as a small step up I would go for this one.

Seriously this lens is a beauty, sooo much sharper than my kit lens and excellent in low light.  For me this is what I need for now.

[ Valentines Day ]

I know its a little bit late but hope everyone enjoyed their Valentines Day.

It is not so much celebrated in our house, so this year needing to express a little bit of creativity I decided to give our house a little bit of Valentines Day spirit.  So hanging over our dining table is a collage of hearts - courtesy of http://rebeccacooper.blogspot.com/.   I stuck them to cardboard and hung them with some polystring I picked up from the newsagents.  They are hung from the ceiling with some clears hooks I bought from Woolworths which can come off without taking the paint off.

The two candy jars are filled with marshmallows and kit kats - a new little love I have at the moment are candy jars.
